| I've done several
sports oriented pieces. Baseball themes have been some of
my
favorite. I've tried to communicate and emotion and interplay in
the faces and posturing of each figure. The clay version is shown
here. The boy is trying hard to get the upper hand but the girl
knows
she's won. I try not to use generic faces or body types in my
work.
I feel that each new sculpture should have a uniquely human feel to
it.
My daughter and nephew were the models for this design. It is
available
in a life size version as well as a table top model. |
